GreenSource Sports for Water
Construction
Kayamandi Primary School was the beneficiary of the Open Play Foundation’s first project: The GreenSource Sports for Water facility, a collaboration between Open Play, a Dutch consortium, and the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Construction started in September 2023 and the facility was handed over to the school on 29 November 2023. The GreenSource system includes an artificial mini-football pitch, a water purification plant, and a wastewater management system.
